** WARNING **

Thieves want your attractive 20" chrome rims and tires. Protect them by garaging your truck or SUV or getting a sensitive alarm.

Other thieves want your whole vehicle. Recently they have been interested in Silverados, Tahoes, and Avalanches. They like the spacious, heavy duty vehicles that are suited for drug smuggling or human smuggling. Protect your investment with an anti-theft device.

One of the most beneficial crime prevention programs that exists today
is NEIGHBORHOOD WATCH. It is all about neighbor watching out for neighbor. Weslaco has several watch groups, but only a few have meetings.
But the main thing is for all residents of an area to keep an
eye out for strangers or suspicious activity in  their neighborhood. And
do not be afraid to call the police department.
If your neighborhood would like to form a neighborhood watch group, call Officer Bernie Garza at (956) 447-0847 or (956) 968-8591. Or you may contact your District City Commissioner and he will set up a meeting.

KEEP YOUR EYES OPEN!
