Weslaco Police Officer Marco Siller receives the "Law Enforcement
Purple Heart" award for injuries he received when a careless driver
rammed the back of Siller's police unit, causing it to knock
him down and run over both his legs. Fortunately,
Siller was not seriously injured.

Ruben Cardenas, State Farm Insurance, hosted a safety and fingerprinting event on Saturday, May 8. There were food and games for the parents and their kids, along with information on how to be safe in today's world.
